Sort of Spooky

So I hung out with my best friend today.  We talked about what a wonderful woman her mom had been, her ten year struggle with cancer...how it won in the end, and the things that now rested on Dees shoulders.
It was great, and it was sad.  But we discovered some odd things.
First, when I woke up on Saturday and thought that Lisa was going to die that day, it was exactly ten minutes before she did die.  Exactly.  Odd.
And my friend has spent the last three months at the hospital by her mother's side.  Her husband has been taking care of the kids.  On Saturday the nurses convinced her to go home and spend some time with her family.  She went home, having not been seperated from her mother for more then an hour at a time for months.  An hour and a half after she left, the nurses were discussing how it was great she finally went home to spend time with her children.  It would help her and she would be better for it when she came back.
No sooner were the words about Dee going home to be with her kids out of the nurses mouth, when Lisa took her last breath, and let go.
She waited and waited and waited it seemed.  Dee wanted to be there, to hold her moms hand and watch her go.  But Lisa waited until Dee was gone.
I dunno, I wonder if these things happen for a reason.  I wonder how I knew....and if Lisa, even though in a coma, could really choose what time to pass on?
