Sorry to be out of touch

I am sorry to be out of touch.  I am still having a lot of pain from the accident.  I went to see another doctor who pretty much told me that I am screwed.  Pregnancy puts enough stress on your back that healing back and neck injuries is impossible.   I might not feel better until I give birth according to him.  The problem is that I am trying to teach as well.  It has been so hard to try to get stuff done for teaching while I am in such pain.   I just cannot sit at a computer, which is why I haven't been on as much as I like.   Ugh!  I am barely surviving.    Anyhow, I hired an attorney to at least go after some pain & suffering from the careless lady who hit me.

I am glad you hired a lawyer. That was a great move. I am sorry you are in such pain and I do hope it will aliviate soon. Teaching is so difficult when you are in pain. Hang in there.

The lawyer if the first step - I\'m glad you were able to get that accomplished! I can relate to difficulties of teaching while being pregnant. I was lucky to have an excellent student teacher right at my last trimester - incredibly heaven-sent with 27 10-year-olds!!!! Hang in there - keep the feet up and let your students do the legwork!

good for you--people are horrible drivers here, and I feel like I\'m nearly hit on a weekly basis. What class are you teaching this semester? Maybe you could work your situation into a learning experience for them!
