Sorry for being MIA
It may continue for a while. I am not feeling real well. Abdominal pain. Went to Milwaukee yesterday. Waiting for verdict today. My options? Probably pancreatitis (sp?) due to ? Choices are meds, virus, or another autoimmune disease. If pancreas labs are okay, (they were better when I left hospital two weeks ago,) then we need to check for infection.
Good news. MG has been stable and she feels I am nearing remission. Just in time to have more problems...
I told her it seemed utterly unlikely that I could possibly develop another autoimmune disease and she said "If you have one, you are 25% likely to have another, if you have 2 you are 50% likely to have another, if you have 3, you are 75% likely to have another." Since I can name 4 I have off the top of my head, I must be screwed.
Sorry to be Debbie Downer. I am prayerfully working on my attitude.

Im sorry you are still having these stomach pains. I had hoped no news was good news but I guessed wrong. I hope the news today is good. Please let us know.
Im glad your MG has been less active but wish all your immune disorders would lay off and leave you alone for a while. I vote for a virus and not a new disease!

Okay, we think we have a verdict. Again. The labwork showed pancreas enzymes are back in normal range, yay!, but liver enzymes are poopy, boo. This they feel is probably the prograf as it is mainly processed that way, so...
The plan is to switch me to rituxan...They are working on insurance approval and I would probably go to hospital the next week or so for first dose. I am relieved, I guess. But, I cannot help but think that another change, another exacerbation? They have me decreasing prograf slowly.
This does sound like goodish news. Not another autoimmune or worse. Still keeping you near remission while changing meds could challenge you and the doc.
Looks like we may be starting to get notifications. Wouldn\'t that be nice!!

I have been wondering how you are doing. I got so out of touch with everyone due to having no internet due to fires here in Washington (two of which where right here where I live). Sorry to hear you have not been well, but happy to hear your MG is in check. I too am doing better since the Imuran kicked in. I will be praying dear Debbie that everything will improve, because it is time for you to feel good for a change and enjoy that precious grandson. Love, Cathy
