somewhere in the middle
I was going to come to my journal just now and write 'half an entry' -
my Dad used to use the turn the phrase "half an answer" which meant
along the lines of "have a question... create an answer as well"
I found when I tossed my precaution to the wind in order to take my walk
a little while ago - my spirits rose and I felt great!
I came home and had lunch.. reallly wolfed it down and then suddenly felt so
untethered and I started to crash emotionally - feeling so aimless...meaningless.
Now I'll say that - maybe we can't always toss our concerns to the winds - it's good
to let ourselves be free sometimes - but perhaps we also have to remember to own our emotional
states as well. Be self responsible as boring as that may seem - it's really all I've got right now.
I started to see all the things wrong with my life and my appetite was yearning - but
I'll keep a lid on it - and use my enthusiasm for walking, like I did today, help motivate me
on future jaunts. Gosh I wish I didn't have to do this but so it goes...planning for life can
seem exciting - but then you have to bring yourself along the way as well.
Peace and hugs! I go back to work tomorrow!

The price of freedom is taking responsibility for your own well-being. Damn! ! ! There's a catch to everything, isn't there?
thanks arfie!
Here's to finding it in the moment!
Thanks Mid, I feel childish.
Maybe it’s just a bad day. Some days I can appreciate my troubles in a sense of perspective and write them out. Today I am trying to find some sense of reason and you guys are so great to be there. I look forward to my therapist tomorrow. I can hold on till then. Just don’t feel so strong or sure. My stepmom just helped me to feel a sense of value.
Good for you getting out and about..... I think sometimes that answer in that moment is .... damn it!!!.... Big squishy hug.... I hope that you have a really good and therapeutic appt sweetie.... xo
