Sometimes the news is good
Saw the G.I. and he feels that the stomach problems are related to the phrenic nerve problem which has eased up considerably over the past month :) and I am working hard to maintain some good food intake and walking every day possible.
I am the master of my world because I choose to feel, think, or do what I do each and every day of my life now. I am getting much better at treating myself gently and with proper care and love.
There will be a colonoscopy in the future but hopefully they will honour my request that the sedation be strong enough that I will not feel a thing. However, there is a great deal of personal strength involved in allowing the procedure to even occur. My twisted and very active sense of humour will pull me right through this though. :)

You remind me of my colonoscopy. When it was all over and my friend was there while I was waking, the nurse came and told me I needed to pass gas! I couldn\'t believe what I\'d heard and she said I needed to pass gas, as they had blown me up like a balloon in order to navigate with the scope. So in my drugged stupor, I began and then heard the nurse telling this poor little old man the same story and then another and soon we had the \"fart Symphony\" going there in recovery! I don\'t think I or my friend ever laughed so hard in our lives!
ROFL. yes, i just took a dear lady friend in to get it done last week and she had to go through the fart symphony. :)
