Sometimes, I am just rubbish
I baby-sat my niece today.
We have taken to being dizzy together. She sat on the pc chair and I spun it, the chair fell over and she hurt herself. Guilt I will carry forever.
Accidents happen but I always seem to cause them.

Aw honey no!!! You know that kids have accidents all of the time, that\'s just how they are. She has probably forgotten it by now x
Totally agreeing with LD here. I\'ve had accidents with my own children, these things happen!
No crying you! I bet she has loads of fun with you :D
I know she had fun but it was entirely of my creation. I did not take proper care of my sisters child. The fact that I caused her to hurt and cry is too much.
I remember telling William off for jumping on the sofa, I picked him up and put him on the floor, he slipped and cut his chin open on the zip from his jumper. He still carries that scar.
I dont think I should be allowed to be \'in charge\' of things, I only make it go wrong.

I know I am guilty of letting my kids ride bikes and skateboards and such without helmets, fairly often. That\'s negligent on my behalf, and they have had minor injuries. but they hate wearing them, and I shouldn\'t give in. You know, we aren\'t perfect... but we are darn fun :)
Kids are so resilient. Think of all the times you were hurt as a child because maybe you weren\'t being supervised, or something similar, while playing. Do you hold grudges against those people?
It\'ll be alright... you are a very caring person, that is why it\'s affected you so. But I assure you you iz wonderful, and I\'m sure the funnest uncle/dad ever. So there, that is that, and I\'ll have no back-talk :P
