sometimes

I don't mean to complain, I have a very very good life...

but sometimes with the darkness of life, that we are reminded of,

it can knit itself into a barrier net within us, preventing us from seeing

the gray area or even a ray of ligh, showing us life's beauty, which inspires us

to move forward...and keep on keeping on.

I'm glad I found some beauty this morning.

I have things I need to get done.

I want to get them done.

the psychotherapy surrounding my light phobia has brought me to marvel at what the average light-ager calls, "darkness." i have most excellent night sight and on night with a literal moon full and bright enough to literally drown out the brightest of human lights, so many light-agers are still trembling in fear of darkness.

more and more, i wonder if that disparity carries to the metaphorical light/dark. sorry that hangnail is so dark, my fearful friend. yay you for finding light in your newest app for that.

or am i lost in metaphor again? for sure i'm feeling that familiar eye-ache i get when religiosos and cliche poets start metaphoring around.

a strength i find in letting myself complain as needed, when needed is that i get it out of my system much quicker and cleaner. sometimes the free flow of thought nets me a solution. sometimes it only leads to a more serene acceptance.
