Something went right for once...

Okay, so over the last couple of days I've been trying to set up my pharmacy technician certification examination...the one I had hoped to take over the summer but couldn't for eligibility reasons (needed a few months more experience).
I'm eligible now.  So yesterday I pre-registered and paid for it.  I needed to wait a day to actually schedule it (yes, it's a little longer than it needs to be, but oh well).  I waited the day, and found out that indeed I'm in the system now.  So I go looking for test dates and locations that I can reach without having to ask my mother to take time from her schedule to drive me.
What happened next is a stunner...in a good way.  I discovered that where I'm taking classes for my AS also doubles as one of the testing centers on a limited basis during semester breaks.  So I got what was for me a plum appointment: January 20th, giving me just under three weeks to review material and take a practice exam.  Right now I have nothing better to do, so that should be okay.  If somehow that doesn't work out, I can try again in one month's time after that.
Not much has gone right recently, so to get this straightened out in a way that at least gives me a chance is a welcome relief.
