Something i wrote last night, that informed this morning

I was just on my computer for a bit and then looked around the room to where Blue was on the rug. At times I think I can tell what he wants but feel so unsure if I actually do and so I’ve started to look for signs. I decided to get onto the floor next to him. I started to stroke him. His face doesn’t glow into a kind of smile, his gaze looks off into the distance but he stretched out his body and started purring. I thought of what my friend Steve said of what his cat did, putting out her paw and not actually scratching to show him she’s ‘his girl.’ I started to look at Blue’s purring and his relaxed posture as a sign that I was doing ok by him and that I am his!:) I’m back in my chair and he’s parked right next to me. I just feel I should do more. But I get it now, I have to look for signs. He’s really specific it’s funny but he likes what he likes and is unique just like each of us. I was just told cats communicate in subtle loving ways and that he’ll let me know.
