Some sleep, feel better

I liked this little quote and it is oh, so true. I think that’s one reason why this site is so... helpful to us. I’m still not up to par but I am feeling better. I’ve had 2 night’s of decent sleep. Yeah, I hate the grogginess of the seroquel but I’ll put up with it as long as it let’s me sleep. Sleep is what it will take to get me back up.The other negative factor for my depression, and this is not as severe as the lack of sleep, it is our weather. We have had mainly rain and overcast skies for about 6 weeks. May and June were the pits and we had three really nice weeks the first part of July and that’s been it. It’s particularly depressing because her winter is not too far of. And our winters are so....... long! I hope that we have a lovely fall. What we use to call an " Indian Summer ". I hope I don’t offend anyone with the use of this term. I’m not even sure where the saying comes from. But it means nice, sunny days right til the end of Oct. Our fall here is beautiful because of the abundance of maple trees.Anyway, I must close. I am going to visit with my friend for a few hours. She has been away for over a week. We are going to have coffee and catch up time.Catch all of you tomorrow. Debbie

I\'m with you, it\'s to late to get a sunny summer so now I\'ve switched to praying for a crisp and sunny fall.

I like that quote, describes DS perfectly!!

I\'m glad you are getting some sleep, it does make us feel better. I\'m sorry you are having so much rain and overcast skies. And yes that too gets to a person. Hopefully you will have a good fall.

Take care & enjoy your visit with your friend.
hugs Cathy
