some good thoughts from my psychiatrist

the past few times i have been to my psychiatrist he has patiently heard me

out about my misery at times, with what I have been dealing with. He's very kind and

generous. He has also wisely suggested the idea "What do you do when that anxiety (or whatever)

happens?" From this, which finally sank in, I realize I kind of don't doctor myself but I do complain a fair bit and also tend

to go inward. So today rather than go inward about my anxiety, or whatever it may be I am trying

to say to myself, I have a choice how I can respond to this stuff. It's been about me trying a new

consciousness about my experience, though I am rather tired today, I think my Doctor has kind

of given me the power to Doctor myself - like the keys to a car...It's time to start nursing myself

along. :)

That's good Mark. We should all learn ways to care for ourselves whether it involves our actions, thoughts, taking PRN meds when needed, or calling the Dr. for help.
