some good idea
some good ideas
I'm off work now. I've had my lunch, shower and I've gone to the bank (to save
some $ to put into my lock box.)
Things are good.
I'm having a cup of chamomile at the moment.
It's just a satisfying way to relax after a long shift.
I've got the windows open - it's warm out,
warm enough that I don't need the heat on, and yet mild enough
that I don't need air conditioning. Great SoCal weather.
I'm definitely at a point in my life where I want to lose
weight. A good fifteen to twenty pounds. My belly has become
embarrassingly large - and my face has filled out as well.
So much of my healing has been about learning some method
for coping with my daily issues (of survival and mental wellness.)
My appetite for sybaritic things like food and drink do not sit well
with me. It's become a problem, that I am trying to resolve by
adapting a perspective and action plan that goes well with
how I want to be living my life. I'm recognizing a personal philosophy
for guiding my 'decision making' when choosing what to do with my
time and appetites. Also said like, a check in with my own sensibility for deciding what to do.

for what it's worth
with my weight problem being on the envied end of the spectrum (yes, i wish you had my problem, too), i usually skip the weight loss discussions, butttttttaaaa. . . my most admired losers channel their ". . . appetite for sybaritic things like food and drink" into workouts which will tighten those abs. muscle weighs more than fat, so several of those admired losers didn't actually lose pounds. they only lost the pregnant look while gaining muscle tone.
I hear you!!
