so many different lives

I don't know why this is ocurring to me now. Perhaps because I am reflecting on my own challenges and trying to ressurect a kind of path for myself. But there what I am seeing is that there are so many different kinds of lives out there. We may look for archetypes or iconography to mark points of our lives that we share but many of us or perhaps people like me have very different benchmarks for marking the stages of our lives. Rather than follow a path that we can share in celebration, communally, as nice as that would be, we have to create our own paths. Having the courage and vision to do that is the blessing we can take. Perhaps reaching out to those we are blessed to call friends is what we can take in a meaningful way.
