So many...

Been reading all the posts.  SO MANY lonely people out there!  I wish I had an answer for all of you and myself.  I am trying to build up my esteem to start trying again to make new friends.  It's not easy, other people are not very open to meeting new people.  I don't know why.  I don't see anything wrong with it.  Perhaps they are too busy with work, families, etc.  But what about us, people with small or no families or who don't work or just work part time?  There has to be a way for us to make friends!  I live in New York City.  In as big a City as NYC, and yet there are SO many lonely people here too.  You would think in a large City, there would be plenty of people to mingle with, right?  Doesn't happen here either.  Sad state of affairs!
