So I'm sick

Figures.  Just when I'm getting ready to go back to work and already nervous about being able to handle it all, I am sick.  I'm not sure what kind of sick - hopefully it won't be too bad or last too long.  I felt a low-grade discomfort in my throat all week but thought it was my meds - since I'm taking so many.  I started to feel a tiny bit sniffly last night - but figured it's because the temperature has dropped so dramatically the last couple of days.  And then I woke up this morning with an awful soar throat, the watery eyes and the chill up and down my spine that tells me I most likely have a fever.  And since I'm being sad and sort of pathetic; it's raining here too.  I think winter/rainy season has started.... I woke up too early because of feeling ill and then when I finally was able to get back to sleep, realized I needed to get up to go to therapy.  In my achey/tired/anxious state, I kept trying to go back to sleep.  I started to panic a bit, but then got up, rushed and threw on some clothes and got over to the appointment just on time.  I feel sort of awful and didn't shower but at least I went. It was an odd appointment; I guess I'm nervous about going back to work, so we talked about how I feel about work past, present and what I see in the future.  I was starting to feel like maybe we had gotten off track when I asked therapist if I seemed better.  She said absolutely - that a few weeks ago, we couldn't have talked so steadily about the prospects of the future or work without me breaking down and crying or just not even being able to respond. I guess I'm getting better.  I am a bit freaked out that I am getting better, because I don't trust it yet.....What if it doesn't "take?"
