So frustrated!!!
I called my doctor's office last night to see if it would be open next week only to find out it's closed until August 13th!!! It's always closed a lot! I had my blood tests done two weeks ago and they probably have the results by now but they might have closed before getting them! While they're closed there's no way to find out anything!!! I'm so tired of always not feeling well!!! I'm so tired of not having any answers when I know that high pth, low vitamin D, and borderline high calcium isn't normal! Also my life never changes! The only thing that helps is going out to a movie and the mall every Friday. A chance to get out and relax; to try to put all of this out of my mind for a while! I'm scared to enjoy anything for too long though because I know that something negative will always be around the corner! Life is suffering with short burst of happiness once in a while.

Sounds like it\'s time to change to a different doctor, especially, one who closes often. Maybe you need to see a specialist, a naturopath (ND) also. O.J. Simpson had a dream TEAM and won so when someone gets a disease or has major health problems, such as with the thyroid then WE need a dream TEAM also. An M.D. alone, cannot help in getting us to function normally again. Consider getting ALL of your hormones checked, especially if you got diagnosed while under \"the most stressful time in your life.\" Especially Chronic Stress leads to Adrenal fatigue which leads to deficiency in other hormones. I hope you get an answer to all of this process and begin to feel better soon.
If the office has an after hours contact-I might contact them and complain that younever found out your test results and how poorly you are feeling..they will probably tell you to go to the ER :(
Changing drs would be a great suggestion,but if that isn\'t a possiblity then you might submit a complaint to the medical board about your drs office practices
The whole process is time consuming and takes awhile but if you cannot even get test results due to closing it\'s going to make it a much longer journey than necessary. I hope you are able to find another doctor that will make you a priority. I had multiple issues that all contributed to fatigue. So having as many tests as possible is great advice. My doctor referred me to an Endocrinologist and I make sure all of my doctors get copies of everything so they all know what is going on. Sometimes it is hard to remember everything and this way I know they get the info. And yes we all need a dream TEAM! Good luck! I hope you get yours!
