So confused
ES has had absolutely no contact with us in about 2 months. I write things to him on messages in FB - he was blocking me totally but I kept trying. Now I see that he must be reading them since they are time dated. In the mean time, he is buying GF an engagement ring. He sent a message to "everyone" including me which is the first that I heard from him that he spent evening going to fireworks with the family which of course means his kids and all of GFs extended huge family and then a picture of a heart shaped decorated cake he made for GF. So I know that all that matters is GF and her family. He constantly makes that clear. He had blocked my FB messages, email and phone number. Today he posted the following

His name and birthdate with parent (me) and sibbling (his foster brother), place and date.
In the comment secion I wrote "proud to be your mother and proud you are my son. Will love you always.

This was something he tagged to me so I'm not even sure what that means. I also got a message today that he invited me to play Pet Rescue on FB.
I want to be hopeful that he is trying to start to reach out to make contact but I don't want to get my hopes up only to feel that I have another slap in the face. Could some one please tell me what they think this means since I am probably being too hopeful. Thanks

How can I find out how to play Pet Rescue
I don\'t know anything about playing games on FB. Actually I don\'t know much about FB and messaging, etc. I like email, text, face-to-face. It sounds as though your ES wants you in his life but \"he\" wants to control how your relationship will be. Most young people want to be in control.
We haven\'t heard from our ES now since my DH got out of the hospital. Not surprised. But we are not letting it bother us either.
Let him take the lead - for now. Don\'t give him or his GF anything to accuse you of. It is so hard. Hold tight to the Lord.
He is playing mind games. I am not sure how to react. Why would he place an update of life event - His birth with the facts? That doesn\'t make any sense to me. Then he invites me to play a game about pets. He knows I love animals. I am afraid if I don\'t play,, he will take that as rejection but I am also afraid of the things that could happen if I do (some kind of booby trap). In other words, I have no idea what to do and don\'t trust him after all he has put me through. How I need help in this. I am praying and praying
