Snowing, Dreary and Just Plain Tuckered

Sigh, it's snowing outside.  I knew we were not done with that dreadful weather yet.  There are weather rules in Alberta.  Like, no matter how mild it is, it always snows halloween night.  And there is always a lull in april between snow storms.  This will be our final hoorah with winter but it will last for the next two weeks.  That's extra phooey because we are walking 2k on Sunday for charity.  Walking it the snow.
I hate the snow.  Everything dies, and it's cold and wet.  The flakes are of the big, fat variety.  But instead of the beautiful swaying descent they are being pelted at the ground like hail.  Like hail.  We have a weather warning out.  It's for sleet/snow/massive winds.  Lovely.  Sleet.  My favorite weather anomily of all time.  Who wouldn't love sheets of ice being flung from the sky in a fury and carelessy battered against houses and cars.  Sleet takes out windows, and it rips down trees that haven't been growing for ten years already.  It ruins kids bikes that have been left in the backyard in youthful carelessness.  When it hits your skin it can make you bleed.  Ah, oh joyous occasion.
I can't wait for summer.  I think Marlow can't wait for summer!  She is getting some serious cabin fever being stuck inside all the time.  She's not the only one.  I would take the thirty above to the thirty below anyday!
Just sort of a miserable day in general.  Marlow's first tooth is making an entrance.  And a non too grande one if you ask me.  We were up til 5am yesterday, and boy does my ear hurt.  She screamed at the top of her lungs if I so much as sat down for a second.  So I stood for almost four hours and bounced.  My knees feel like they belong in an 85 year old arthritic lady's body.  And then this morning, the tooth is gone back into hiding!  And I only secured 2 hours of sleep before all the kids I watch in the day started showing up.
They are all in the process of getting colds...so I figured if they were all sick why not just drop em off.  We need the money, and it's not like anyone is gonna get sicker.  So I have a house full of runny noses, coughs, and fevers.  Good thing Marlow has given me alot of practice in this area.
Just have the winters parting gift dolldrums.  I'll survive!  :)
