Smiley Face Monday!!!
I am so grateful for my little dog Apollo. In every way except literally he is truly a son to me and my husband. We may not have conceived him, but we love him like we did.
Almost 10 years ago Cassi and I were in our small town local grocery store. They have a bulletin board for their customers to tack things up. While I was checking out Cassi was looking at it and found a flyer for Pomeranian puppies for sale. She showed it to me and said she had always wanted a Pomeranian. Her 15th birthday was coming up soon so I took down the number and made an appointment for us to go see the puppies. He was part of a litter of 4, 1 boy and 3 girls. I put a deposit down on him and we were able to pick him up a few weeks later when he was old enough. It didn't take long for him to become my dog, as usual when children get pets. He is a bundle of love in a beautiful furry package. He and his Pom sister Chloe are our kids now and we couldn't imagine life without them. So, because of Cassi we have these absolutely wonderful little dogs that give us so much more love and companionship than we could ever possibly give them.
Thank You Cassi. I love you so much and when my heart is hurting I can look into their little eyes and see their love and it's all because of you baby.

That is a true smiley! I like the idea of posting on Mondays. I got out of the habit. Tight hugs, M
Nothing like our fur babies to bring us such JOY. Our Jordan, is fourteen now, and really slowing down, yet I\'ll never forget when Douglas met her for the very first time. Zuke, our Mini Aussi, is six, and keeps us on our toes.
I appreciate knowing about your babies and how Cassi had her hand in the selection.
Hand in hand, Heart to heart and lots of fur baby licks too, :)
XO Joanie
Sounds like your pups are a sweet reminder of Cassi. Our pets really have a special place in our hearts, that\'s for sure!
Hugs,
Donna
Pomeranians are so darn cute! Yes, those fur babies do add love and warmth to a household for sure. We have a frenchie named Charlie. He can be quite a rascal in his sweet loving way, but he is a sweetheart and is definitely part of the family.
Gina, I love that you brought back the Smiley Face Monday for all of us to remember things that we are grateful for. I must start journaling again. It\'s been a while and I think it will help me feel better.
Love and tight hugs,
Diane
I\'ve started physical therapy, once again. Sore all over but little Gracie is so happy when I return home, it\'s worth going out. Hoping to regain strength and then, be able to walk. Enough time on my own, now, I need these young guys and their training to build up muscles again. Love our little rescue bichon fries. Cannot believe we got her so cheap, she\'s worth a million. Always cheerful and loving. How do they keep their spirits up?
Those fur babies add so much to our lives. My youngest daughter asked if we could begin volunteering at the animal shelter. She said it would be her therapy. From there she talked me into fostering. We are currently caring for a trio of kittens until they are old enough to be adopted. They\'ve been so good for us. They have brought laughter back into our home. I\'m glad I Iet her talk me into it. Hugs, Paula
