Smack Delay
I tripped over Mojo Dog in the dark hallway on my way to the bathroom this morning. Landed full force on my nose and upper lip. Ouchus Maximus. . . Blood gushing everywhere. . . Three or so hours later my sinus cavities are still packed with blood clots and the extent of the damage is still not clear. The gash on the bridge of my nose is still bleeding, but the rest seems to have stopped bleeding.
Don't think I'm going to attempt the return to the river region today. I don't feel a need for an ER trip, but I don't think I want to risk a long distance drive until I have a more confident inventory of the damage.

I just got the answer to the question "why do geezers shuffle their feet"... I have had a few falls this year that now have me thinking I should start practicing the Geezer Shuffle, want to join the dance?
Hm-m-m-m-m. . . Would I have still tripped over the Mojo dog if I hadn't been doing that very dance? Granted that Mojo is big enough that even the highest steppers need to elevate to get over him, but. . .

I actually cut myself at work today while I was cleaning a blade. Not nearly as bad as you - but it bled like the dickens!
