Slow Down
Life moves at an exact pace. Nothing you can do can change that but recently I found I had not left enough time to think during hours out of bed. between the television, computer and books I did not give myself time to think. When you're my age and with a few ailments the tendency is to not think about yourself unless you are actively seeking depression. I have found that by entertaining oneself by day the thoughts come in the evening when the lights are out.
Straightening up life is not an easy task and can keep you awake till morning. I'm going to take some time away from the keep busy toys and see if resolving old issues or just remembering personal history by daylight is helpful to restful sleep. Since each day is a special gift, perhaps I can use it a little better.
