Slow Day
today was a slow day. I did go for my walk, but I only did a mile and a half. I had to pace my apartment just now to get to 5,000 steps. I don't do a lot of walking at home... my apartment is pretty small. But at least I got 5,000 steps in. I might take tomorrow off totally and not even go for a walk. I'm not sure yet. I guess it depends on my weight tomorrow. I was 227 even today and I hope that tomorrow I'll be down as well. I'm 200 calories lower than my allotted range. I'm saving that in case I get hungry tonight. I'm hoping I don't need it, though... I wish I would have exercised more today to burn more calories, but I have to be happy with what I've done. It's funny... I already walked my 5,000 steps, but I want to go for a walk outside. I like walking outside at night. I just have to worry about mosquitoes and not being seen. I have a belt that has reflective stuff on it, and I walk in the light, but I'm still worried a car isn't going to see me and hit me. I've been almost hit by cars in the daytime because they aren't paying attention to the pedestrians. So now I know to be more careful.
I slept like crap again last night. You would think with all the working out I did yesterday I would be exhausted and have a good night's sleep, but that wasn't the case. I woke up at 11 am and couldn't fall back asleep even though my body was exhausted. I stayed in bed and around 12:30 took a klonopin to knock me back out. I slept until 2:45 and felt a bit better. I started my Celexa taper today... so far nothing. I wouldn't really expect to see any changes in just one day. I see my psych on Tuesday, so if I have any symptoms I should know by then. I'm tired now... I should start getting ready for bed so I can have a good night's sleep tonight.

it is okay to have lazy days, I wish I would allow myself to to that, a total lazy day. if your body is saying you need that then do it. 5000 steps is better then 0 steps and I am sure you didn\'t even know where they came from. I was wondering yesterday at work about the steps, I was stepping all over and I thought of you. don\'t fall into the awful trap of eating less, you are always so good about keeping within the right range for weight loss, though I definetly know how tempting it is. I wont walk in the dark, it is not well lit, we have sidewalks but I feel unsafe, by cars and people, thinking I am a target for someone to attack. sorry about the sleep, but it sounds like you made up for it. hope today goes great for you. many hugsss
I agree with Ann. Its deff ok to have lazy days. Its a way for our body to recoup from all the hard work we have been doing. Everyone needs at least one day to relax. Don\'t be too hard on yourself. I\'m so sorry you are having so much trouble sleeping. I hope that improves for you. Hope you had a good night\'s sleep last night. Hugs.
