slipping a bit - but maybe I can learn from it
I was at work earlier today...did my thing and what the work required.
More and more I am seeing each day with folks at work as a way to learn to
get along. Some people want to be friends, some people don't. You connect with some
and you don't connect with others - and for the most part people are reasonable at getting along
even with these kinds of differences...Not everyone can get along and I can move together and separate
with better ableness when working with all. I embrace myself. :) hehe.
I came home from work and the activity of work turned it's focus on me and my empty day.
I do have to take care of my brother's dog.. and that's a gift....
and part of me knows I have to consider the tools in my toolbox
in a way to consider how I cope when I am alone and start feel a certain way. It's like I want to emmerse in a world
of comfort because alone I start to feel sad - I think maybe if I keep with others, rather than apart from them - even though there's agitation with others at times - I feel I might be better off embracing the responsibility - Maybe I should get a dog or a cat. I don't like the poop and hair that comes with it - but bet it's like that universally to an extent.
So, will I park it, in front of the TV and have that be my babsitter and mental/psychological jacuzzi for the day?
I think in a little while I will kick my butt out the door and buy my charge Nina a doggie toy.
I felt myself slipping there for a bit at the prospect of sinking into my life here at home alone after work but
after writing this, I feel better. Indeed another tool from my tool box. :) I hope you guys are having a good day!!!!
