sleep last night
I had a hard time going to sleep last night. Not the worst, but hard. I did cave and have a second cup of coffee around 12:15 pm yesterday. Maybe that contributed? Not sure. It might have been anything else as well. I will *try* to resist the extra caffeine today. I brought a ginger tea bag with me, so I'll try to have that instead.
This morning I cam feeling all the symptoms of sleep deprivation--especially irritability! I want to put a sign up by the elevator saying "SHUT UP PEOPLE WORK HERE!" My office is right next to it, when people are waiting I get to hear their entire conversations. Ugh! FWIW, they usually don't get that noisy but I am extra sensitive today. No chaotic noise!! A lot of it is the fog coming in (to my brain that is) and me trying to fight to comprehend things. The chaos just makes that worse. If it manages to get as warm as it's supposed to today, maybe I'll drive over to the meditation garden and take some time out there.

the meditation garden sounds GREAT. Did you do that? Are you home and taking care of yourself yet?
No, I never got to it. I did get some work I could slog through quickly, though. So at least I have accomplished something. I am home now but have been exhausted for the most part. I am repatedly confronted without how foggy my brain is and I am sick of it. I can\'t think straight, I can\'t remember things. What I do remember I\'m not sure is even real. I just can\'t do this. I am ready to give up--for tonight anyway. Tomorrow I am sleeping in and I don\'t *care* if the boss doesn\'t like it. She\'s not in tomorrow an I can call her boss instead. He\'s much more compassionate and knows me better. It\'s insane--I work for one of the top companies to work for in the *world* and i can\'t get things worked out.The irony is ridiculous.
oh, my poor friend Jenna... :-((( \"how foggy my brain is and I am sick of it. I can\'t think straight, I can\'t remember things. What I do remember I\'m not sure is even real...\" I know how that is and it IS awful. I think the brain fog is the worst, because it\'s there even when I\'m not PHYSICALLY drained... Hugggss....
Don\'t set the alarm, OK?
Caring for you honey... let me know how you\'re doing, OK?
Jack
Sure will, Jack. Thanks so much for your support. I am feeling much better today. I decided to work from home anyway and to heck with the consequences. I told my upline boss, including that my hours would be weird but the work would get done, and he was fine with it. I woke up with the same migraine I went to bed with, so I got up at 7-something, took the strongest med I have for it, and went right back to bed and sleep. I got up around 8:30 and have worked off and on, resting when I need to. I\'m feeling much better now, even though the headache isn\'t all gone. It\'s just a dull shade of pale in the background now. Thanks again for the support!
