Sleepy
My alarm went off 7 times this morning before I finaly told it to shut up. I woke up naturally at my usual time, which was 15 minutes before I was supposed to start work. Grrrr.... So much for washing my clothes in the morning. I really don't get it. I don't feel depressed. I've been on the med dose for over six months without difficulty. I'm going to bed earlier than I used to by about an hour. I asked my doc and I cut the meds which make me sleepy in half, and I'm taking them well before I go to sleep. I didn't have any alcohol last night (not that I've ever considered drinking a problem anyway). And yet I've been waking up consistently late for work. I can't get up with the alarm. And I sit here at my desk in a sleepy induced fog. I could easily just shut my eyes right now and sleep for an extra couple of hours. Diet and exercise (or lack thereof) are the only things I can think of, but I didn't even over eat, which I usually do. I spent some time doing yard work on Sunday, but how does that explain the other days. Sigh. I'm going to get this under control somehow, even if I have to start going to bed at 10. What a boring life though. Oh well. Steve

Steve i was the same way.i dont know if you take a multivitamin??
i have started taking them and am slowly feeling better not as sleepy /tired just a thought Steve ...........
I totally relate. I feel this way every day. I used to always get up early and was usually one of the first people at work each day. Now I am doing good if I make it in by 8 am (used to always be in by 6:30 at the latest). And, like you, I feel like at any point during the day I could fall asleep at my desk and sleep the rest of the day.
I agree with Sweeney - have just started taking multivitamins and they do seem to be helping.
Hope it gets better for you soon.
Hugs
I know for a fact that my sleepiness is due to my prescriptions. I would suggest that you get a fresh slap in the face first thing in the morning, but I know you have enough on your plate. I think it\'s the stress that\'s draining you.
ouch, this really is numero uno thing that I fear about life. Hang in there mate : /
Sorry Steve. I seem to get like that also. I hate it but it happens and then we feel better for awhile..
