Six weeks

Today was hard.  I kept going over everything wishing he was still alive, wishing so bad he was still alive.  I have some social worker coming over tomorrow to set up home support for my son, which he has never needed before.  I don't know why he needs it now.  Tried to explain that we are grieving right now, but they don't care.  All this is going to do is mess up his routine, which has already been changed by his dad's passing...why don't these people understand?  I feel they are being disrespectful, and I don't mind telling them that, either...All this is likely to do is make him agitated, which I will have to deal with on top of everything else.

I feel your frustration. Why is it people will not listen to us? In your case just to leave you and your son to find your way before they start meddling in. I like to think they mean well but you more then anyone knows what is best for him. I am tired of people telling me what I should do about the house and this and that. So I hear what your are saying!! I now am say, \"there is no good time, there is no bad time but now it is my time! And I will let you know what I decide.\" I say it in an assertive voice but not rude or angry and it is working.
