Six Weeks
I have been taking Azilect at 1 mg per day for 6 weeks now. I am having no side effects.
My medial collateral ligament has healed with careful walking and wrapping the knee with an ace bandage. I am no longer wrapping the knee. I have been able to walk every day and my average walk for the seven days is 3.75 miles. My wife thinks I am still favoring the right foot.
I drove the motor home 155 miles today. My right foot pumps the throttle when I am trying to maintain speed with light pressure. The cruise control is useful in this case. I did get a test of right foot strength today. A driver pulled directly in front of me after the barest slush stop. I had to scrub about 40 mph off our speed. Many things moved in the coach. This is a 65 mph highway. I was probably cruising at 58 mph.
