Sign and Prayer

I want to start this journal with something I think is a sign from Josh but not sure.  I was in a store on Sunday and took out a $5 bill to pay for my things.  Well as I was pulling it out I noticed a small heart stamped on the back of it.  I told my brother I should keep this $5.00.  He thought I was crazy.  Well yesterday I pulled it out to look at the date thinking wouldn't it be great if is was a 1990 (the year Josh was born).  Instead it was a 2006 the year he died.  For some reason it amazes me that there was a small heart on the year he died.  I think it was a sign from Josh.  What I don't know but still a sign.
My mother will be having heart surgery on Thursday.  She is having to have heart valves replaced.  The heart surgery will take place at Wake Med in Raleigh.  I have good faith in these folks as they took great care of my daddy when he had his heart attack.  My brothers and I will leave tomorrow afternoon.  Spend Wednesday and Thursday night there and come home sometime Friday.  Please keep her in your prayers.
I come home on Friday to get ready for another road clean up for Josh.  Something I dread but I do for Josh.
Love you my Joshie Pooh!!!!!

As sure as the semi truck with OX on the grill was a sign from Jeremy, the heart was a sign from Josh. Maybe you should think of 5 of the best times you spent with Josh. I know there were lots and lots of good times, but what about the best times? Usually when I think back on the best times with Jeremy I end up laughing so hard! He was quite the card. Hugs to you, Angela

Hi Rhonda, I agree with Nora. I try to take all these events as signs instead of coincidences because I don\'t want to miss any real ones. Than I say \"Hi Buddy, I love you too!\" In any event, it makes me feel good. I will send up prayers for your mom\'s successful surgery and recovery. Love and Hugs, Diane

Our kids are always finding new and different ways to stay in touch with us...that is just how it rolls. If others don\'t believe it or see it, their loss. I guess it isn\'t really their fault that they aren\'t as intuned to our kids as we are, right?! Love and hugs, strength for your road cleanup and prayers for your Mom;s surgery...Lynn

I believe that if it had NOT been a sign you would not have noticed anything..you would have passed that bill on to the clerk but instead you immediately noticed! That is the sign of a sign...that you are open to the possibilities of signs and so therefore you receive them. I never had those kinds of beliefs until we lost our Brandon but now...I am always asking God for signs and I believe God sent me the ones I have experienced. Josh is still with you in your heart.....and he has sent you his love...and I also find it interesting that your mother is having heart surgery...another heart...lots of love coming your way. I hope your mother does well and recovers in God\'s speed.....dale, brandon\'s mom
