noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, i was writing my journal, hit the wrong key and it's gone................................................................................................
Bruce came by early and got busy in the yard. i sat here and watched the birds come out.......Mr. & Mrs C.....sweetest little cardinal couple you'd ever want to meet. A vibrant blue jay, a pretty robin red breast and pretty soon ol' hang on Sloopy, Sloopy hang on Squirrel was down out of the tree running through the grass. They like the freshly mowed lawn as much as I do.......!!!
Mr. & Mrs. C are building a nest........do both partners build? I need to look that up. Yesterday I noticed Mr. C keeping watch by the small evergreen next to the patio.........Bruce came round the corner with the leaf blower.......and whoosh whoosh........Mr. C's bright red plumage followed by the little woman......her feathers softer and quieter, but still very pretty, she is petite and sassy! She is flying up behind Mr. C in the yard - teasing him........off they go, chasing and swooping........having fun. The air is very humid...rain is on the way. The forecast calls for showers Fri-Sat-Sun. OK. Maybe I'd better go do my errands today. Maybe. (my bangs are in my eyes - the hair place trims bangs for free & unlike when I do it myself they make hair look good. hair cutting is not my talent....!!!!)
I peeked into the tree, saw the small nest beginning to take shape & form. Want the parents & any future babies to be safe. In 2009 it was only a foot and a half high. Now it's over 7 feet high.....looks like a perfect little Christmas tree.
I lost my vibe after losing my first journal. Man. I was trying to see how to spell haagen dazs.......clicked the wrong thing and that as they say......was that.
Maybe later........right now can't think, brain dumb, inspiration will not come.
Time to feed the monster and then let it out of the compound to prowl awhile. Yeah me, dear sweet femiNINE me.......my tummy is growling really loud..........hard to sell southern lady gentility with that racket going on.........get out - do errands and walk a bit.
stay cool and comfy........tonight they crown the new winner of AI.......I think it will be Candace Glover. Candace & Kree are both amazing singers.........but my instincts say Candace. Am I the only left who watches this??? LOL........hugs to all ya'll!

OH, I\'m sure you\'re not the only one who watches A.I.! I\'m a DWTS freak, and we have a small group (I believe you are a part of it) that dish about the show. It\'s lots of fun! Hope your guess is right about the winner.
So sorry you lost your first journal! I know! I know it takes the wind right outta your sails when that happens.
Sounds like you have a happy bird haven goin on there Southern girl. How nice. I love listening to the birds early in the morning! I\'m doing that right now as a matter of fact! It\'s before 5 a.m. and they are my only company. It\'s a comfort to know that other\'s in God\'s creation are awake with me!
We\'ve had rain in Jersey. It got up to 81 degrees yesterday too. That kinda heat doesn\'t go well with my body! I have this broke internal thermostat! Most annoying thing ever (outside of losing a journal...and then your spunk).
Hope Mr. and Mrs. C continue to build their nest....while you get online lessons in hair cutting.....: )
I really hate it when I lose a journal! So I know how you feel. I love watching birds build and nest .. one of life\'s simple joys! Funny to hear you are starving ... I have been very hungry lately which is very bad for my diet. Or as Richard Simmons would say \"live-it\". lol I wish I could see AI ... we don\'t have cable and they won\'t put it on hulu or netflix. When is the finale?
I would love to see Mr and Mrs C! The only birds I see here are blue jays and crows. Lots of squirrels here,and one will come and take small squares of whole wheat bread w/peanut butter on it out of my hand...this one has known me for awhile and trusts me! The others run in terror!! lol!
Tell Bruce to take care with the blower...not to blow away Mr & Mrs C..;o)

I have also received the joys of instantly losing all of a journal writing in one feld swoop.... arg! So glad ur enjoying ur yard along with mr and mrs C. My hubbie watches american idol... ur hunches were right.... xxoo
