Short entry
Received letter last weel that i am one of however many injected with the bad meds from. Mass. My docttor assured he never purchased from them due to their notices before and shutdowns. Guess you cant trust anyone and his nurse will not let me have an appointment to see him.
Hope none of you got the tainted meds.

But even if you didn\'t receive any of the contaminated medication you have all the mental anguish and worry as to whether you may have gotten it, despite the \"reassurances\" from your doctor. Praying and wishing for the best for you.

I am so sorry!! Of course the doctor doesn\'t want to talk to you. He knows he screwed up - big time. His nurse is following orders.

Hope all goes well... wonder how they\'d have gotten your name if he did\'t purchase from them...my understanding is that they were supposed to manufacture it (one batch) if/when they got an RX from Dr. for meds but decided to make a LARGE batch and keep on hand and send out when they got the Rx instead..

Huh - sounds like he\'s protecting himself, although not really his fault at the end of the day. How could he know they were bad? Would be nice if he would talk to you, though. Hope you are okay, anyways.
So sorry to hear this, what a rough break this is for you.
I heard that there may be more to come on this story. That company distributed over a hundred different kinds of medication, not just the injectable steroids. They still don\'t know how far this goes.
Your doctor should not have responded to you with denial, that\'s clearly irresponsible in a situation as serious as this one is.
I\'ll be thinking of you and hope you will not be affected.

Write a complaint letter to your counties AMA include all the info you have. They may or may not be able to get the info but it is a start. You do need to know, you need the NDC # from the vial you were injected from in order to find out if that was a tainted batch. No dr wants to be put on the black list of the AMA that is a good start. They should inform you of the out come, and or help you to the next step. Also check into lawyers that would help, but keep that in your back pocket for now.... I hope this helps and works for you.
