Shopping and design
I did some retail therapy online today for something for my room. I was thinking about design and what worked and I realized that some design would work better for a ‘they them’ or a ‘he, him’ or a ‘she her’- there’s no right design but there are different elements to accentuate and focus on for each person. Everyone has a different relationship to aesthetics.
I find myself noticing now my own relationship, I tend to be closer to a they them and ‘beige’ he him mix ..
And it is helping me realize how I react when alone my relationship to aesthetics and when I am with others I realize I need to self affirm and we are all in that quandary. Shopping today i started to go for what truly touched me. Not the safety of the group or the detailed of a detached style but something personal to me.
