pretty red balloons.....

hello,

doesn't take much to knock the air out of a pretty red balloon.  but when it's floating through time and space it brings so much joy.

and so it goes... as we live the lives of beautiful red balloons.

me tired, bet you is too.

listening to James Taylor......soft and comforting.  sweet chords........he tells us to "have yourself a merry little christmas.....may your hearts be light.  in a year our troubles will be out of sight.......

sing to me James...

a thick blanket of autumn leaves cover the land.  far as i can see.  chilly, quiet, sunny.......a december day in Georgia.

i wish it could be like James is singing.......in a year we'll all be together, until then we'll just have to muddle through somehow......have ourselves a merry little christmas now.  i promise to try james.  let's pinky swear to try.....and seek JOY

have a made up casserole in the oven.  ground beef, sweet onion, spices, tomato paste, chicken broth, rice......taco seasonings, fiesta cheese on top.  smells good......hope it ends up tasty enough to end the rumblies in the tumblie.

time to wish you well, bow my head & pray in care of your day, my day......your family, my family.......soft hugs.  as always, thinking of you,

sparrow

I always love to hear about your food. It always sounds delicious. I am proud of you for making food for yourself. It sounds like you are just cuddled up in a blanket. It's freezing here in PA. Hubby is going to the grocery store. I'm glad I don't have to go out. Love you.

Yep . I'm an old James Taylor fan too. He does have a soothing comforting voice for sure. His songs always flash me back to my younger days in the early 70's living in Paddington Sydney. I've seen fire and I've seen rain..I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end....I've seen lonely days when I could not find a FRIEND !! Hello Ruthie friend. Thankyou for your prayers. I miss autumn leaves...remembering my childhood. Hot here...troppo season. Love you xoxo

Hi Ruthie! Your journal sounds as comforting as the peaceful tunes of James Taylor. Stay snug and warm in your Georgia home. Your casserole sounds delish. We're getting buried in snow here in Chicago - it's beautiful, but hard to drive in. I am sure you remember those days, Iowa girl. Love you!
