She visited

I woke up smiling this morning.  Lisa and I had a visit in my dream.  We laughed and reminisced.  I knew she was gone and just back for a short visit but we had a good time.  This is only the second or third time she has come - the last times were very hazy.  This time she was right here.
I am awake early as Joe was up very early to go to LA.  He insisted on taking the airport bus - which you catch downtown so he is off with a backpack to the bus stop.  We are trying to use that bus as often as we can as it is a new service here in Calgary and they will stop it if people don't use it.  So I am going to take it to meet him on Sunday when he comes back.
It was a green smiley Monday yesterday but I didn't journal as I wasn't sure until late afternoon.  Finally Andrew and Tiina have an answer to why their cat was so sick.  His potassium was really low which caused him to stop drinking which caused dehydration.  The vet hydrated him and gave him a potassium shot and now he is a happy cat!  It only took 4 trips to the vet and about $500.  Actually they went to the Cat Clinic yesterday.  I think that will be their vet of choice for Mystic from now on.
Last evening Joe and I went to share photos and visit with 2 friends, and former colleagues who walked the Camino de Santiago.  They are going to be volunteers in refugios - they were on a course on the weekend to learn about it.  We ate tapas, drank Spanish wine and compared experiences.  We had a lovely evening.  Unfortunately we didn't get home until 11 pm.  and Joe had to be up at 5.  But it was worth it.
I hope Joe enjoys his time in California.  He needs some joy in his life right now.
