She does get full!! LOL!

I've been worried that with things going down so smoothly since surgery.... that maybe I would not get full easy like people do! I was so concerned that i asked the surgeon about it yesterday. He laughed and said as long as I do what I need to do, then it will work!
I can agree with that... however, what I also wanted to hear and find out is about the full thing.....

Tonight I had chicken and green beans for dinner. Today was my first full day of solids. I started off with a protein shake to make sure I was off to a good beginning in the protein area.
Lunch I had frittata, one strawberry and 2 grapes and a 1" square of flax roll (gluten free and no net carbs!). This part is because of the fiber I need daily... flax is a wonderful way to get fiber in! My meal went down just fine. I enjoyed it. No sick. Was satisfied.... not still hungry.... but not necessarily full either. Well, I think I had just the right amount. There is no need to get all full, just satisfied!
But.... I could not help wonder how much would it take to get me full! Not sick.... but full enough to really not want to eat anymore.... (like I use to eat and get full). And don't get me wrong, I don't want to do this... get so full.... But I did want to know what this looked like and felt like with my new pouch! I hope that makes sense.... guess I wanted to know if my tool is working!
Tonight for dinner I had 2 oz chicken (with a bit of fat free turkey gravy with to keep it moist.) 1 low fat cheese stick, and 1 oz of green beans.... Less than 200 calories of food, just like at lunch.
Boy oh boy did I get full!! Not sick thankfully... but full! Like thanksgiving dinner full! I went for 2 walks after dinner to help things move along.... And so far so good! But I've been burping so much i could rival my husbands burping tonight and that is a scary though!!
So.... my point is. IT WORKS! LOL! I guess i knew this on some level.... but sometimes you gotta experience it before its real!
Next saga.... BM city! LOL!
Now that I am on to solid foods it is time to pay close attention to the solids coming out the other end! I am adding flax, and even took a dose of Metamucil today for extra fiber.... And I have a corner of my notebook I use to track any..... ummmmm.... activity. Being constipated is NOT something I want to have to cope with, so I am hopeful I can prevent this with my fibers and the bit of veggies and fruit I am eating..... More to come on BM city!
