September Challenges
I am trying to make September a good month. I'm going to try and get back to journaling daily, and I'm doing challenges with a couple of friends- step counting, 5 fruit and veggies a day, and 30 minutes of exercise. It's a lot, but I know with the support of my friends (Zee and Ayla) I know I can do it. I need to do something... My weight is getting out of control and I need to stop that now. Last night I had 3 pieces of pizza! No wonder I gained a pound. I weighed myself at the gym yesterday and I have lost 1.5 pounds from my last weight at the doctors. I'm less when I weigh at home, since I do it first thing in the morning and not after a sweaty workout. I know they say you lose weight in a workout like that, but I had all my clothes on and lots of water in my stomach.
My mom might come visit. I hope she does... she has a lot of problems with her son-in-law who is living with them now. He's in his 20's and wears his pants low and you can see his boxers and she hates that. Not to mention all the food they are eating (His wife, Jennifer and 1 year old son). My mom says that they are eating a loaf of bread a day, a gallon of milk a day and not helping out with any cost. her husband is even buying their cigarettes! She wants to get away, and so she is thinking about coming down here for a bit while things get settled at home. She is mad because all these issues were not problems when Ryan (mom's son in law) said he would help out when he lived there. Now he's there and there is so much drama going on that I want my mom to have some peace. She was here for us when we needed her after Geo's surgery, so she is welcome here for as long as she wants to stay. I miss her, and it would be nice to have her around... she wants me to get my license and I can practice driving her car. I hope she comes down... she needs to leave the drama-llama for a bit.

sounds like a great plan for September and having supportive friends help so much! you can do it, you have come so far. try and weigh yourself at the same time and try to not weigh yourself everyday, there is so much flucations, just with water.that is awful about the situation at your moms house!!! I would refuse to buy the food, maybe only for the 1 yr. old, if they get hungry enough they will get groceries. how rude and dispectful. I am glad she is coming to visit, you both will get so much enjoyment
You have some great goals for September and I hope you meet everyone of them.
Love your goals.. you can do this. I do hope your mom comes to visit . I know how much you love to see her.
they should be paying their own food and utilities. if they have food stamps, where is all that money going or do they cash it in? creepy when they do that because you know they are doing something else then as well.
