Self-acceptance

Okay, so just when I manage to feel comfortable with myself, and the changes that have occured to my body and emotions from Addison's Disease, I find that a man will show interest in me, and then my old self-doubt and feelings of inferiority, come to a head, again.
The bottom line is, I can accept myself, for myself, but when I think of having a serious relationship with a man, I look at the weight gain from steroids...that's outrageously dumped in the wrong place...and the thinning skin on my arms and legs, again from steroids. Why would any man love this? Then I end up back-sliding, again! I do think I would love to have a special man, who loves, respects, and cares for me, but I don't think I'm good enough.
