Seis de Mayo and struggling

Cinco de Mayo was rough.  Tim had to have outpatient surgery.  He found out he had a hernia.  He injured himself in '09, but ignore the pain.... it got better.  But about a month ago the pain came back with a vengeance. So ..... surgery for not one hernia, but two.  Surgery went well.  If he behaves himself, he'll be back to normal in 2 or 3 weeks. Big "if".  He also lost his driver's liscence.  We are hoping he dropped it at the hospital when he went in for the pre-op exam.

The dogs are doing well.  Jack is a little monster - very energetic.  The vet can't believe how well he's doing after having been exposed to distemper.

I had a new clutch put in my standard-transmission car a week before Tim's surgery.  The mechanic got sick, so it took 2 weeks to get my car back.  My car is a '99 with 275,000 miles on it.  It was still running on the original factory clutch.  It would have went a while longer, but there were some signs.  Not bad, huh?  Tim wanted to get a new clutch (new slave cylinder, too,) with our tax refund money while we had the money.

There's more, (doctors, truck radiators, dogs ......) but I'm so tired.  This crash - seems like as soon as I start feeling a little better, something else happens!  Ya know?

Yeah, I know. Handcuff him to the bed and take care of yourself. :-)

Oh, my goodness! What a crazy few days! That Tim had better stay down and get better. Please, take a moment to rest when you can. It's always something. Isn't it? Love you.

Yep I know exactly what you mean Nancy. 2017 has not been my favorite year. Hope things are smoother sailing for you now. I'm sure Tim will bounce back. Make sure you don't overdose on pickling and jamming and cleaning girl. Have a little Nancy pamper. You deserve it. I'm crashed like a dead old whatever on the bed here. Only my fingers moving. Hugs
