Ahhhh.....yes, so true. I\'ve spent my life trying to do good things for my parents to make them love me....but I didn\'t need to.....I have goodness in me already. Thank you vjewel happy new year to you!!!!

I thank all of you! Hap-eeeeeeeee New Year. Staying home and having a few friends over. Going to do a burning bowl ceremony. Write out and burn what we want to \"release.\" Then, write what our desire/desires are for the New Year. I will have them put their return address on the envelope and mail it to them next year. Fun, fun, fun!

I was thinking about a ritual in \"releasing\" a friend and thought of a similar ritual (would need to be outdoors though) ... but fear setting something on fire. And not quite sure how to go about it. Thanks for explaining what you do. This reminds me of the \"god box\" that was suggested to me ... writing out my resentments and putting them in a \"god box\" and releasing the feeling that way. I prefer the idea of torching something, though ;)

For a grp. of people I have a little \"smokey joe grill\" I use to burn what we want to release; it\'s right outside my patio door! Chilly, but perfect!
I made my grandchildren a \"God Box\" for Xmas. I put construction paper around a coffee can and cut a hole in the lid. I didn\'t decorate the outside..I told them that was there job. The only thing I did was put \"their name\" God Box on the construction paper. I really think they might use it.

I have a \"god box\" -- I\'m learning how to use it. Been told to write out my resentments about someone & put it in the god box and \"turn it over.\" I\'m working on it. Did it 2 x and it has worked. I need to get back to using it. My box was a Morton Salt container (\"when it rains, it pours\") -- the spout is the opening :)
