Seeing through the storm

I was serving today like most mornings but had a very hard time mustering the enthusiasm for a vibrant presentation.. i wasn't being lazy, i just couldn’t summon the control or strength. Reading the passages can be so overwhelming with emotion and feeling too. Truly life and death stuff and my mind went into a storm of frustration and discontent and no control. I stumbled and stammered through it. At the end of service we had a memorial for "Michael ". I don't know him, but I thought about the poignancy and spirit of someone passing and I nearly started to cry. These things shouldn't be taken flippantly. They are universal but meaningful to each. I just thought after that how these mental storms I get really deprived me of appreciating the great life I have in front of me. The realization helped me see through the storm. I am lucky, we are lucky! Keep on keeping on!

Big hug sweetie

Seeing and appreciating a fellow human being has left this earth is powerful

Perhaps doing every service is too much and it may be hard to show enthusiasm as it can become rote when it's so much

Another hug my friend...xo
