SeaWorld-MS Day of Discovery
It was a great day! I got to meet so many beautiful ladies that I have been online with for the last few months. We laughed and giggled and, of course, discussed MS. It was wonderful to put faces to names, in person, and to meet family members. There were so many of us, that, unfortunately, we soon lost track of one another in the park. We kept trying to connect, but didn't. Oh, well...we did have some great moments together. SeaWorld was amazing and while there is a large part of me that hates seeing these magnificent creatures in captivity, there is a huge part of me that is so very glad that people are being educated as to why we need to save these beautiful animals. The obvious bond between handler and animal is one I am jealous of - what an amazing career that must be. I have a greater admiration for those with MS that have little ones, I spent the day with my godson (and his Mom) and I was exhausted! We left the park about 4 pm and before we got to the highway home (only about 10 minutes), I was fast asleep. My hat is off to my friends that have little ones at home - I am amazed by you! I wish I was closer to play "auntie" on occasion so you could have a break, if only for a little while..... I didn't post until today because I was so exhausted that I needed to rest yesterday. I could barely move and had a real fear of going into relapse. I am doing better and getting ready to tackle the week. Again, it was great to meet everyone and I look forward to when we can get together again!
