scribbles 2
I came home from the Japanese garden.
I didn't know you need a reservation to be admitted.
So, I came home and made a reservation for next Monday..same time.
I ate some lunch. Felt very empty personally and kind of felt lost.
After eating some lunch and watching a little tv..I tried to relax
with my spare time and at that time I just felt lost....
but what I remembered, which was a godsend, is that i have to keep
'self responsible' about my emotions and take care of personal business
around the apartment and so on. I do feel that pang of being alone -
and I am very much looking forward to going back to work tomorrow..
but for now I am feeling both that sense of being alone (which is true) and yet also
feeling the joy of having friends and family close by and available. So it's not one
or the other. I am alone and I have things I need to take care of - and thankful for it and
for my cat and my work and so on.
Peace and good thoughts and wishes to you guys.
Thanks for reading and being there!!

It's one of those moments of reflection that you find the joy within, through finding your calm as it is.
Yes, I can understand having to have a reservation for the Japanese Garden. It is a peaceful, serene, tranquil place that appeals to everyone at one time or another.
Thanks mid!
Hugs, mark. It’s a shame we aren’t all closeby and can’t meet up for little outings.
I hope you will keep reaching out to friends closeby too. I love love love that we can all stay connected here. There is something different about in person things too….helps us break out a bit more and the loneliness isn’t as intrusive. The alone time really becomes awesome reflection and rest. I hope I haven’t written anything to upset….just a sincere thought. Big hugs mon ami xoxo
Thanks Nikki (((( big hug)))))))
That Japanese garden sounds cool, I used to work for a Japanese restaurant in New York & on my breaks I would go back in the gardens & listen to the water
Big hugs <3
Thanks lil missy! I can’t wait to go. It’s supposed to be big and beautiful!!
You wanna hear something spooky .... so this particular Japanese restaurant was brought piece by piece from Japan to New York to be rebuilt the exact way it was in Japan for many years before that. I was a cocktail waitress there & one of my roommates at the time was one of the managers there (it’s how I got the job) anyways she was a closing manager so would have to stay late doing the books & inventory at night on the weekends.
There was an upstairs & downstairs to the place. A couple times after we all left & she was downstairs in the office she would hear walking around upstairs & think we were there still & go upstairs but no one would be there, so she stopped going up there at night because it freaked her out.... but she still kept hearing noises directly upstairs when no one was there. The bar area was at the bottom of where the stairs led to in this place & she was doing the bar inventory one night & felt like someone was watching her & she looked at the top of the stairs & swears she saw a woman looking at here wearing a kimono. She literally stopped doing all her paperwork & left & came home & told me about it, & you could tell she was freaked out. The next night the same thing happened but it was a little girl this time instead of a woman in a kimono staring at her, so she called me freaking out & I came down to stay with her to feel safe. When I got there it definitely felt like .... I don’t know how to explain like a ‘vibe’.
But every night after that I would stay with her late to do the inventory so she wouldn’t be alone.
We told one of the other managers (that’s from Japan & was co owner) about it, & he was super casual about it, like oh yea there’s a little girl & a woman with a kimono up there, some of the cooks have seen them too! lol
Whooooooooo hooooo spooky rite lol :)
Big hugs <3
That’s a spooky story!! I’ll share one with you tomorrow!! I need to get to sleep now!
Lol cool :)
Buenas noches <3
I was once visiting a friend at her condo in San Francisco.
I woke up in the middle of the night and saw this bright light
of a figure which dissapated quickly. It was a little boy looking
at a book - standing by it. He looked up from the book sort of acknowleding me
and then turned his head and was gone.
Later in the morning, my friend told me that her condo used to be an old school
for boys. :)
Ooooohh that’s a spooky one too :)
Wow
Big hug <3
Yes! I never believed in ghosts ever. Then this happened. One person said to me that there might be some quality of nature where an energy pattern is recorded like a tape cassette but natural..and that’s what some of us see.
Wow that’s really interesting :)
