School Paper
Paper for school need some advice due tomorrow. Please advice is needed. Thanks in advance. LoveRobin If you had 100% freedom and unlimited resources to build any website you like... What would you design / build? Write 2-3 paragraphs to explain your answer. I would first have to get all my information and supplies together to build my website. I would build me a family website. I would gather photos on my computer and organized in folders, photos on floppy disk and cd’s and organize them and then finally paper photos I would have to scan and put them on the computer. So this would be a big project for me. I have lots of pictures of my kids and many holidays for many years. After I get them in the computer I would organize them by family and holidays and have a place for pets also. I have three brothers and their families during holidays not counting my aunts and uncles on my mom’s side. We’ve had several family reunions in the last few years and travel twice from Tennessee to Las Vegas by RV and then my mom travel a couple times from Tennessee to the West with my step-dad by RV. My mother also travel several times taking grandkids on trips for graduation and took lots of pictures. I would also search through the internet and find music matching the pictures to each holiday and maybe a few videos. Then I would have a special page for my step-dad who died of cancer and a link to the cancer website. I have Neurofibromatosis and would have a link to there website and then I would have a link to Alzheimer’s website because my grandpa had this disease. A link to Daily Strength website which links too many people around the world that has chronic pain which I have this also; daily strength offers many groups of all kinds of diseases. My husband has Fibromyalgia so I would have a link to a website for more information.

Robin you have wonderful start on your website. You are very well organized and this website will help all who look at it. Unfortunately I have hard time putting my thoughts in print. So I can\'t really express my thoughts the way I would like, but this website will be WONDERFUL. If you don\'t mind someday I may get to help me with a website someday.
Sounds like it will be a good website,and it would lead others to places of interest to all.Good luck and too bad you really can\'t get money to really build one huh?

First off... Floppy disks generally are no longer used. Their space is too limited. Also.. check your spelling and grammar. You used the wrong words a few times. Be careful using words like there and their. You used the wrong word in one case that I picked up. Also you are telling what you would put on the website, but not what type of website you would build, which is what the question I believe asked. (What would you design / build?) It sounds like you would like to build a personal family oriented website. You talk a lot about reunions and family photos. But you also talk about linking to health related websites as well... This sounds more and more like an extended profile type web page like you would find on Myspace. Try focusing on one thing, and develop a website concept for that. A family oriented website is possible. Instead of posting a million pictures, perhaps try making it more of a history related site, with stories on it of how the people in your family met. Separate branches of your family off onto separate pages, and include related pictures with the stories you tell. If handled correctly, your site could in the future have some historical value. The Mormon people have perfected archiving information on families.. Perhaps you could check them out online. You could even find out information about your family from them to add to your own site. These are just some suggestions. Once you have figured out what you would build, and planned it out on paper, then it would be easier to explain on paper. Your idea is very good, and one that is popular these days. I would be interested in seeing it, when you get it done. Good luck with your paper.

The only thing I can think of is to pay very close attention to your grammar and be careful of run on sentences.......other than that maybe a name for the website like families helping families or something like that.........or ..........not sure because you don\'t want to isolate people who choose to be single either...........some kind of a catchy name or just your family name...............what you have sounds organized...........

Sounds like a great idea to have a family website. :) Thanks for sharing. You may want to read this several more times to find any incidentals, for instance, a needed period or comma. Good luck and hope you get a good grade.
Robin, please read Testycatlady comments. I love how you write but it should be written on how to build a website not what you want to put in it, I believe.
My grammar and punctuation are in fibro fog ! I\'m afraid, so forgive me. I spell as I pronounce the word ; ) so thank goodness for spell check. A little change in your wording for clarification might be helpful like , I would build a family website... and, I would gather photo\'s from my computer. Those in folders, floppy disks, c.d.\'s along with \"paper\" photo\'s. After entering them in the computer I would be able to organize them....

Tennessee..it sounds really interesing! I would as others suggested..maybe stick to 1 topic...families, holidays shared, trips, etc. I type terrible with lots of typos..I write and spell well, typing bad!! Yes, check your spelling on cetain words..travel needed to be plural..travelled..I think..other wise it is very good Tennessee.

hey sweets the paper and the web site sound great the only thing i would add and it isn\'t a put down it is only cause my mom used to get all over my butt for this is how you word it the grammer but outside of that it sounds REALLY good i also would visit the web site
