saying prayers for uncertain times

in this social distancing, I am assuming the quiet and lack of mobility is probably a lot

like how things would have been for generations past. The lack and limit to instant culture

is helping me see my own functioning. It makes me aware that the engine in my head

can undermine my outlook for the day by the way it gnashes and gnarles away at things

instinctively. And yet I am also able to see the self awareness of that. And so I try and

hold my head above the waterline so to speak, so that I can choose whether to listen

to the engine and have it totally color my outlook.

We are in uncertain times. Even more reason to be grateful for what we have - keeping

the mentalizations that can tempt you to color your day unconsciously with it's power...

And so I am saying prayers for the greater good out there. Not just for myself and my own issues,

but for all those around with any kind of issue -- and that we all make it through this

and find comforting and grounding somehow.

The first time I heard the cliche, it royally pissed me off, but more and more I believe I do not see the world as it is. I see the world as I am. Attitude counts. My heart's desires are the key to my attitude.

May each of us bring a more honest version of ourselves to the Post Corona reunion. I might or might not be at that reunion. I'm kinda digging the government mandate telling me to ignore the shrinks who keep telling me isolation is a bad thing.
