Saturday's visit

I went up to see my son on Saturday he seems to be doing a little better. After Tuesday's visit & our family session on Wednesday we decided to take him out of group and he was put into isolation. He was to do an  assingment that would help him since he was not in group, this kind of backfired on us. WE told him that when he did 3 of them he could go downstairs for dinner instead of eating in his room do the other 3 he could go down for breakfast. He did them all within an hour turned them in & said he learned nothing. From there we decided that he had to redo them all and this time he wouldn't get the next one until he did the first and learned from it. He is back in group but in a smaller group, he says he particitpates more. He also said that he does talk to his social worker, a little but no t all the time. I know he likes some of the staff members up there and has talked ot them.  We have a family session tomorrow afternoon and a visit tomorrow night. We'll see how that goes. BUt on the bright side my oldest son went for his appt witht his psychritist on Friday and he thinks that maybe this summer after school is out that we can try taking him off his meds.
