Same ole , Same ole'
Wish something exciting would happen. I'm so tired of being bored & being alone. Here's the weekend and nothing will change. I have a weird family so nothing ever happens, unless it's an argument or fight or something. With me, its the same things every week. working 2 days a week, buying groceries, cooking, and maybe going for a walk. Same ole shit day in and day out. Only difference on weekends is that I can sleep late. I'm starting to lose interest in things.
I so miss the advetures I had when I was younger--meeting new people, going out a lot, getting invited places, not worrying about money, new and adventurous discoveries and things would happen, I'd just walk down the street and something would happen!
Now, NOTHING ever happens!! Other people are very involved with their own families. Geeze, what gives? What's a girl to do?

Hi Maria. I feel like this a lot lately too. It’s tough when life feels like all work and no play. Life gets out of balance. Too much of the dull and not enough joy. Routine gives structure (which I need), working forces us to get out there but.... no fun.
I suppose the obvious advice is to get out more, hobbies, meet-ups. But I know you already do keep active. You’re better at it than me, I stay home way too much.
Anyway, no real advice, but a lot of understanding. Take care my friend. The warmer weather is coming and I know that will cheer us both up. Will you be going to the pool again in the summer?
A lot of us feel the same way, if it wasn't for work and grocery shopping I would never get out except for once a week when I see my sister and work is definitely no fun but at least I do get to see and talk to people. It doesn't help either that the older we get the harder it is to do things like walking, I used to walk everywhere now I'm lucky if I can make 6-8 blocks before I hurt, :-( getting older is no fun but it beats the alternative. Hopefully when the warmer weather hits it will be easier for you to get out and do things, at least you have the pool to go to and because you drive you can basically go anywhere you want although I know it's more fun with a friend.
I hope things get better for you soon, hugs, Jean
Sorry you're feeling the way you are. Where do you work 2 days a week. Have you tried meetups. I know you have volunteered. Wish we all lived closer. You & I would have a lot of fun together. Just found out my girlfriend is in Costa Rica with her giant. Jealous I guess. We all carve out our path in life, however she used/abuse a lot of good men on the way. Pissed me off. Gentle Hugs!
