Same as last journal but easier to read

Hello, all my friends in cyberspace. Once again I am behind in my journaling...I apologize. But life happens and I have a few things on my plate the last few days and just can’t seem to get here. Today was one of those days that it might have been a good idea to just stay in bed... everything that could go wrong.. Did. Oh, ,nothing serious, just minor inconveniences. It started with me oversleeping by 10 minutes, I forgot to set the alarm and then on top of that the boys I tend arrived 10 minutes early. No make up this a.m.!!! Usually while they watch the cartoons I go upstairs and make my bed and do some general tidying. But not this a.m. the boys where at each other so I had to stay close to referee. I did some pots up and a load of laundry. Then I took them to school for 8:45. Usually I then go to the gym for a tan and a workout but the weather was super nice this a.m. that I wanted to make good use of being outdoors getting the yard ready for winter. I collected all my ornaments and cleaned pots and organized my shed. I was finishing up about 10:50 by filling the bird feeders.Well, while I was filling the feeders a car stopped by the empty lot and they were looking around. I thought they may be lost as our street had been blocked off. A lady gets out and I meet her. She wants to know if they can see the house on such short notice. I’m almost speechless, if you can imagine me with nothing to say. Our house is off the market as of tomorrow ( Thursday ). I tell them this but they still wanted to see it. All I could think of was my unmade bed!!!! Anyway, they are a couple in their sixties. I show them the house and she loves it!! I tell her the price and that it was not negotiable plus it was a direct buy not a conditional one. They have a home which is all ready paid for and they have had it for sale with a company and were not pleased. So they have had it up for private sale and have received some bites. She wanted me to tell her about Propertyguys, the company that we use which is where you sell your own house. Therefore, no realtor fees. I told her that it would be off the market but if by chance they sold theirs that they should call me and make the offer. I would then contact the guy who owns the house we want and if it was still available we may be able to make a deal. Talk about the eleventh hour. Then this afternoon my rep from Propertyguys called me and said that the lady had called to get her house listed with them and that she really... wanted our house. Right now I am so confused as to what to do.. I had resigned myself with the not moving and now????Then I had a noon nail appointment and didn’t I forget my cheque book at home. Good thing she is a good friend. While there I learned that another friend’s husband had died suddenly of a massive heart attack while playing hockey. The guy was only 50, in super shape, didn’t drink or smoke!! You just never know what the next second will bring.Anyway, this is getting long so I’ll continue the saga tomorrow and I will try to get to some of your journals. Have a good night, take pleasure from the small things, live in the moment as if it was your last. Debbie

Done by 10:50 does not sound to me like you were behind. Good job. I bet you were astounded by the people looking at your house, and I cracked up about the unmade bed, do it one time and you are caught. Well good luck, it may happened. You just brought all your stuff back, bummer. Well at least it is all sorted..Sorry had to add that. Hugs Naomi xo

Don\'t you just hate having to prepare for winter! I don\'t like the cold and snow!

Wow, talk about the eleventh hour!! I hope it all comes out in your favor, home sold and new one bought.

Yes,a person never knows when their time is up. My sympathy to your friend, it is such a shock when it happens so quickly.

Take care my friend,
hugs Cathy

PS Just when you left your bedmaking for later on one day and someone shows up to see your house, it\'s Murphy\'s Law, you know!!

Aren\'t days like that just the pits?
In your place I\'d be very conflicted over the house. You\'ve done so much and it\'s looking really nice and you have such a great yard to relax in so staying there would not be bad. Course I\'m one of those people that get nearly as attached to a house and it\'s land as I do to people and moving always is painful.
Maybe go back and think over why you wanted to move in the first place and what may have changed since then or not.
So your getting real close to that relaxing cruise, wish I could slip into your luggage and come with.:>)

Wow, guess things are going a bit in the fast lane for you. I hope you get the house that you wanted if that is still an option. I know it\'s hard when you psych yourself up for one thing, and something else happens.
