Salutations!

Dear Kitty (this is who I write to),             How are you? I'm sorry for not writing in ages; I lost my diary over the summer, then when I found it I was too busy to write to you, and then I signed up to this, and I've only just been able to connect to the school internet.             Still, I have been back at school for just over a week now, and I'm actually really enjoying the term! Cathy (my bedsit-buddy) is actually very nice (having had a few personality clashes before now...) and I've already written five pages of my new book! I'm quite pleased with it! I've also come up with three good ideas for characters in one of my other books, and my friends haven't changed at all! Well, apart from being older and in FIFTH FORM! Oh, and SatNav and Samson being in LOWER SIXTH! It's amazing! They were both completely smashed last night though; so funny! You don't ever want to see SatNav drunk! But still, I can't believe it! And bedsits are so much more convenient than studies and dorms!             Oh, yes, I forgot to say; I went to my first ever music festival in the summer! It was immense! We saw some people called 'The Go! Team', another random band, and then, (the reason that Charly was going) we saw Franz Ferdinand! Live! I didn't know who they were; I knew some of their songs (nobody here listens to my kind of music, so I have to listen to these other shocking singers... he he he!), but before we saw them, I said to Charly, 'I thought he was dead!' And she just looks at me, and says 'Wrong Franz Ferdinand, Fran!' It was really funny!             School food hasn't improved; the potatoes were covered in pepper today, and, as usual, we had soggy vegetables. The chicken wasn't too bad, I suppose, but pudding was great; chocolate fudge cake! I can feel all the calories... still, that's why I'm doing Health and Fitness this term. It's horrible! But you can really feel it working afterwards! And, as I'm hooked on junk food, I'm getting off that, and I'm eating salad! I never eat salad; it doesn't taste of anything, but if you mix it with whatever else you get at tea, it's not quite so bland and horrible! Surprisingly, German sausage and crutons (how continental!) go together very well!              Anyway, this year is GCSE year, so I think...stuff...might happen. Which is slightly worrying. But I just won't think about it for now, and carry on enjoying the rest of the term!              Oh, yeah; Tom told me the funniest joke yesterday:             How many counter-tenors does it take to screw in a lightbulb?             They don't know; they're not sure if they can reach that high!                          (Pauses for raucous laughter... not a sausage ) Well, it made me laugh. We're such music geeks! Oh, and Chris was being really nice too (because he's Austrian, I don't know if it's spelt 'Kris' or 'Chris...:p!) and we were chatting in German! Apparently, I completely contradict myself when I say 'I can't speak German'... but I don't believe him!              Can't wait to go out again tonight; I hope that Fraser comes too!                     Anyway, I really must go; I have an English essay in for tomorrow morning.Love you lots! (And anyone else who is reading this!)FranoxxxxxP.S. A long, long time since..!

I think I might have written too much!
