Sadie's Home!
When my son and his wife got off work yesterday they came right over and started driving around looking for Sadie. They covered some of the same areas we did but finally found her patiently waiting with a nice couple. She had been hanging out with them all day. They had tried to call the vet's office from the number on her tag but not gotten an answer so they fed her and just treated her like one of their own dogs. When my son pulled up, she immediately recognized the truck and flew into the back seat, her spot. There were lots of hugs and kisses when she got home and then she decided she was ready for bed and has been sleeping ever since. While driving around looking for her, we found out that she has rounds she makes every day, visiting people and they all love her. We were so afraid someone had taken her because all of the delivery men or workers who come on our road fall in love with her.
I would be lost without her. I'm just glad she's home.

Oh my goodness, Linda, I\'m so happy for you!!! I went to sleep last night saying a prayer for the both of you. Yay!!! Sadie is home :D
OMG how awful for you, OOooooo I know what Sadie means to you I dont even know her and I love her, thats so funny that she does her rounds, I use to have a labx and a little mutt and on a regular basis they would escape and go out for adventures to the local primary schools, to play with kids, and just wonder around, I use to have to go find them.
The boys I have now cant get out, the terrier would hate it he is a home body and Foodog my staffie would be pinched he is so hansome and friendly to humans not that keen on other dogs just his friend he lives with, even though we socialized both of them they only seem to like each other,not other dogs.

I don\'t know the whole story, but from reading this journal, I would say that both you and Sadie are so lucky to be back together again. I can\'t imagine the stress you were under when she went missing. Thank goodness all is well.
Thanks again for the prayers and well wishes for Sadie\'s homecoming. LOL She certainly is glad to be home and hopefully will not be chasing a squirrel so far or whatever led her astray.

Thats so sweet. Sadie must be a really sweet dog and she is loved by the neighbors. :)
I\'m glad Sadie was found. I know you love her dearly. The kids\' dog, Buddy, was missing a few years ago. I think he was gone the whole day. He came back with a bath. He was clean and smell good. LOL! So where ever he went, they took care of him.
Oh wow, I\'m glad she made it back home safe.
