Sad days
Sometimes I am surprised how the world can turn on a dime. I was getting ready to go watch my grandson play ball and my brother called. My cousins son was killed in an auto accident. He was 25 years old. I've been trying to deal with it but it just won't deal. Such a stupid tragic waste. There is no way to understand. I mean, I do understand but then I don't really. The parents of this young man is in my heart and prayers and yet I feel something could have been done. He live a life of adventure. He was a thrill seeker with rafting, skydiving, caving, motorcycles rapelling etc. Never could be caged in. I remember him shooting out of a ditch and into the road on a bike when he was about ten years old. It was probably a wonder he lived as long as he did.
Have to wonder if he knew his life would end early and crammed all he could into the time he had. Don't know how much he knew when his truck left the road, hit a tree and sent him flying. Of course he wasn't belted. Don't know if it would have mattered. Funeral tomorrow and I dread seeing his Mom and Dad. I've been sick just thinking about them.
