Sad and Annoyed
I'm so annoyed and depressed! My second day of being completely off medication I started getting mild "zaps", at least 2 a day! So I'm back to taking 1/2 a pill at night but still getting mild "zaps"! I emailed my doctor to ask if I should take 1 whole pill at night. This is so annoying!! Why is my nerve doing this? My MRI showed that my nerve is not damaged, nothing is pressing on it!! So WHY is this happening? I just want to SCREAM!@!%#!

I am upset to hear what happened to you. If this happened to you it could happen to me also when I back off my meds. I don\'t think the neurologists have the answer to your questions about TN. It is difficult not being depressed when this pain comes back. I have been depressed since he pain come back after seven years. I started to take a natural supplement called SAMe for the depression. SAMe also helps with my elevated live enzymes caused by the medications.

Thanks Ralph, I\'m more frustrated than anything else! I just wish I knew why this is happening to me! I wish it was from my nerve being damaged or something pressing on my nerve because at least I\'d know why I have TN! But there is nothing wrong with my nerve!
